Man, I am really excited, to be continuing this journey, and seeing what works, and what doesn’t work. I am pumped, and I want to continue this journey. And Raihan (me) really has become a longevity researcher. Everything I do, it’s because I want to understand and live a longer healthy life. So I am researcher, a researcher that investigates how our body actually understands and grows. And this is an amazing phenomenon, without a doubt. And I am so excited, and for me, the last 3 months have been incredible, and I love this with all my heart

I am so excited, these 3 months have been so incredible, and I am genuinely super proud of myself. And I have come to a point, where I genuinely love so many things. And being able to change my perspective, it’s out of this world. And I am so grateful, that I am learning so much about longevity. And [[Dr. William Li]], an amazing guy. And I’ve recently finished reading a book by [[Shawn Stevenson]], and now I have realized he also does interviews. And I have just found an incredible interview, and in it, Shawn Stevenson interviews Dr. William Li, and that is super incredible to me. Because I have seen [[Lewis Howes]]’s interview with [[Dr. William Li]], and he was super incredible. I still have not gotten a chance to read Dr. William Li’s book, that I have wishlisted on audible, and I am super excited. He just said he’s a cancer Researcher, Dr. Li, and that’s pretty amazing.

And I have decided, I am a researcher as well, and I do longevity research, and that’s pretty much what I’ve been doing, pretty much for the last two years. I didn’t have definite term for myself, but once Dr. Lee mentioned, he’s a cancer researcher, ‘I’m like, ‘oh sh**’, I am actually a longevity researcher. They say, you have to train yourself to become a master, and I have written over a thousand blogs, so I think I’m 1/10 of the road there, in regards to mastering writing, so I am excited. And it’s incredible, I also recall reading this, in [[Mastery]], by [[Robert Greene]], as well as, [[Outliers]], by [[Malcolm Gladwell]], and they genuinely are two amazing authors. I, nowadays, can easily link books and people, which is an incredible phenomenon for me. Being able to pinpoint people easily, that’s a skill that I have mastered, at least have gotten better at, because of writing.

And this is similar to what [[Ali Abdaal]] does, and I also watched one of his interviews, it may have been [[Lewis Howes]] or [[The Diary of CEO]] podcaster, [[Steven Bartlett]], and that’s also super incredible for me. I still cannot remember everybody, but I think Obsidian is also helping me find people, incredibly fast, because of how everything is linked, through it’s management system. I really do love using obsidian, I would love to make a video one day about it, at least the way I use it. Maybe one day I will, since I also recently finished [[Barbara Oakley]]’s book [[Uncommon Sense Teaching]], and she pointed out, that I don’t really have to actually show my face to do vlogs. I can use powerpoint, and there are programs like, [[Screencastify]], that allow you to record with PowerPoint, so I may have to try that out sometimes.

I really have become a [[Longevity Researcher]] now, and I have read enough books, that I can defend myself. And I’m not just sh”ing myself, because it’s real, and we can do so many things, to enhance our lifestyle, as long as we can habitually do the right things, for our body, every single day. And for me, being able to run every morning, it’s been a step up for me. And I have made a leap again, and back in college, I was able to do this as well. But back then, I didn’t have knowledge regarding how to actually keep this going, and I didn’t understand why I should exercise all the time.

But now, I have a lot of things that I can help myself with, that will back me up, if I ever decide that exercise is not important. Because it is super important. And the easiest way, I genuinely think, to exercise, is to just get yourself out, 15 minutes a day, everyday. Just walk, because that’s all I do. And it has helped me tremendously. Being able to get up in the morning, which I am always excited to get up, I love walking in the morning. And I have added 1-3 minute range of interval running, and I started this, like 6 months ago. Because I was able to run in the past, and I knew what I was capable of doing, and so I know how my body can actually work. But I didn’t realize 15 minute is all you need, in a consistent basis, to rev-up your metabolism. And in a 15 minute window, if your body is good enough, you can easily run 7 minutes. And now I am able to easily to do this, which is amazing again. Because I used to think it was incredible that I was able to run 2-3 miles, a couple of times, every week, back in college.

But now I realize, this is actually super simple, and especially because I have read 3 books recently, and two of them, by [[Cameron Hanes]], and one by, [[David Goggins]], and it’s incredible what these men are able to do. And they’re just normal people, that have insane amounts of discipline. They got to where they are, because they’re super disciplined. And they are super genuine beasts of men, without a doubt. And that’s because they know how to run, and they know how to run for a long time. And they can run 100s of miles. And they can run marathons in the morning, like it’s nothing. And that’s just incredible.

I cannot get over how incredible that is. And it’s tough, being able to run 100 miles, without stopping, that is an incredible feat. And people who run, they know that with all their might. And it’s not that they are just super human beings, or anything, they are just people, who have incredible discipline, and they have trained their bodies, over decades, on a consistent basis, every single day. And that is so incredible. And the human body, it is capable of doing so many cool things, and it’s out of this world, if you think about it. But in reality, it isn’t out of this world, so we do have to understand how this works, theoretically. And neurogenesis occurs when we exercise. I am super curious about this, and the books that I read, in neurobiology, it’s pretty insane. And lot of things are possible, and there are a lot of people in the forefront, deciphering how the human body really can function, as time passes on.

And people who are paying attention, they will reap all the benefit. And I want to jump on that wagon, and also see what else is possible. I am super excited, so I will do what needs to be done, and enjoy each day, while learning a lot of cool things. I am super psyched, and I cannot wait to learn more. And people like [[Andrew Huberman]], who I haven’t even started watching, and they’re super famous for understanding how the human body works. And all this knowledge at the forefront, it’s crazy not to actually see the potential. So I am super excited, because there’s a lot more things that I need and want to pay attention to, at least in the realm of nutrition, and how we can protect our bodies. And we really do have to try our best, if we want to live a good life.

And since I have started a new job, I am incredibly grateful towards [[Greaves Corporation]], for hiring me as an engineer. And for the first time, in a long time, my stress level has genuinely come to a point, where I feel comfortable, on most days. And even though, I still get pretty tired after a long day, I still am able to control my stress level pretty well. And that is pretty incredible. And the [[Oura Ring]] definitely has become my ally, and I can consciously notice when my body is in stress. I don’t know how accurate it is, but I get a sense of relief, whenever I am able to notice, that my body is not in stress mode. And that is a huge win for me. And I loved working at Logan Steel, but my stress levels peaked way too often, and that is one of the reasons why I left Logan Steel. Because I also want to protect my body.

And last year, at this point, I also fell, and I hurt my spleen. And I didn’t know that it was bad, or anything, till a week later, and I was hospitalized, and after a few days, they took out my spleen. And that’s pretty much, when my research mind took over. Because I will not take for granted what I had. Because the spleen really does filter our blood, so I’m 100% sure I have lost something, and I still haven’t felt any repercussions yet, but if I’m not conscious, and I’m not acknowledging what I lost, I may die a lot sooner than most people. But of course, the doctors said this may not be a big thing at all, but I still cannot take it, without me personally researching.

So I will do what is needed, and yes, I am also a longevity researcher now. And I know how to enhance my body, and mindset, every single day. And that is a gift, that I will treasure for the rest of my life, for however long I live on this planet. And I see possibilities, and I want to understand how a lot of these things work. Because for me, it’s not about living long, I just want to grow older, with curiosity and excitement still in-tact. And I genuinely believe that is possible, but in order to really understand all this, I really do need self-reflection, and I have been able to do this pretty well. And I am genuinely super proud of that. And whoever is able to follow my logic, and has read thus far, even in this blog, I sincerely am super grateful to you guys. And I hope to keep writing, for however long I live. Because this has been one of my main sources of constant growth, in the last 4 years. And with Pamin, my wife, coming to the US this year, I am more excited than ever, that even more cool things will happen, as time progresses. Thanks, to whomever is able to get this far.
