I am super excited about continuing [[Black Holes]], by [[Brian Cox]]. I started this book awhile ago, and for some reason it seems like one of those books, that is out of my realm, because it is super science-orientated, but nowadays, it doesn’t feel that bad. And one of the cool things about this book, in particular, is the fact that, I am getting super curious at some moments, when Brian Cox is describing some of the mechanisms of how a black hole works. And it may just be the analogy of how he goes about it that is pretty interesting. And I still cannot tell you in-length of what is actually happening, but I do receive a burst of knowledge that comes about, in my mind. And in particular, the law of thermodynamics, being fundamental (conceptually) to the current theory of how life works, or at least as far as science has come. And analogy of black hole thermodynamic theory, I still cannot remember everything, but so far, from what I’ve read, it is pretty intriguing. And I am really liking this book.

And another book that I am super fascinated by recently, that I have started a couple of weeks ago, it’s the book by [[Lee Know]], called [[Mitochondria and the Future of Medicine]], and I genuinely think it is such a cool thing. Similar to [[David Perlmutter]]’s books, it has a very in-depth knowledge about how the human body works. I am working on releasing some of my blogs that I have written on [[David Perlmutter]], and his amazing books, but for the time being, I just want to mention that, some of the things that these authors say, and elaborate on, it’s totally mind-boggling. Learning about how important mitochondria is, the power center in every cell, and it’s actually the integration and evolution of bacteria, it all happened because mitochondria allowed us to evolve into such capable multicellular organisms. And I love that with all my heart.

And with each step I take in, and it’s not anyone particular, but it so happens to be [[David Perlmutter]], [[Nick Lane]], and [[Lee Know]], in this particular instance, the authors really do help me, in particular, I become more aware of how important our mitochondria is. And being able to help our mitochondria function better, that is in essence (one of the pillars) how we will be able to increase our longevity in life. And it’s only a matter of time, I believe, before we make more discoveries, about how we human beings can live a more thriving life. And truthfully, I think exercise is a fundamental tool in all this.

Because for me, what I do each day, it’s not a lot, but the fundamental 30-50 minutes of regular movement, at different intensity, it really does help the body a lot. And the constant learning of and taking in new perspectives, it definitely does help elevate the mind.

And speaking of, I was also able to finish a recent book, by [[Michael Matthews]], called [[Bigger, Leaner, Stronger]], and it was truly a cool book. It was little difficult to listen to, the first few chapters, but after some commitment, I really do think it was a pretty cool book. These books do have a lot of dense information, and it’s hard to take in everything, but the moments when the author really conveys their true thoughts, it really does make it super cool. And [[Michael Matthews]], like all authors that I’m reading, they’re all voracious readers, and knowledgeable people, that love utilizing their brain, and their body. And the truth of the matter is, the brain only (neuroplasticity) becomes stronger, the better we utilize and move our body. Something to the effect of [[Brian Tracy]], that once said, you just got to keep moving. I think that was one of the reasons, initially in my life, when I really did just exercise, because I know how it can really help us as human beings.

But it’s easy to forget, when we lose our focus, and it’s easy to get side-tracked and forget what we actually care about. I think that is one of the hardest things about life, inevitably we lose focus of a lot of things, that we once cared so deeply about, as life comes at us at difference paces, at different moments in time. And I think that is one of the hardest things to grasp, as we get older, as human beings. And I still have a long way, in order to really feel satisfied with work balance, and just overall, how I should really be feeling in life, but I am grateful for today, and that is enough for me. Because I am learning and taking in a lot of things, and I am able to also share them, which has been a long time coming, and I did not think I would have this capability to express myself in a public setting, and with such clarity.

Because the process of writing, it really is such a genuinely amazing process. And once we have confidence, so many cool things can arise from our brain, and I love that with all my heart. And the title of this blog, [[5- The Thing About Space and Time]], it really does define how I feel right now, as I discuss these authors and their books. Because some moments, it just all feels right, and I think, the truth of reality is, we can always get to this point, once we realize the mechanics to broadcast our thoughts, in a very easy manner. And it all comes about, when we are relaxed, and we are supremely ok, with who we are as individuals, and we are amongst people that love us. And that’s a really cool thing about space and time.
